Fleur Adcock remembered in RSL REVIEW 2025

My piece about Fleur for The Royal Society of Literature’s Review 2025.

I was asked to write about my aunt Fleur Adcock’s work and legacy, for the ‘Fellows Remembered’ section of The Royal Society of Literature’s Review 2025.

You can click on link above to read my piece about Fleur (page 81).

It was quite a challenge, summarising all of Fleur’s brilliant achievements. Thank you to family, Greg, Andrew and Sarah, for reading and okaying what I wrote.

I’m also grateful to these three writers for crucial feedback: Kristen Phillips, Alan McCormick and my mother, Fleur’s sister, Marilyn Duckworth.

The RSL’s Review 2025 is also now available to buy in print. Contact The RSL via info@rsliterature.org to place your order.
