Mia Farlane — Windy City Scribbler at The Undercurrent

Mia Farlane reading at The Undercurrent bookshop in Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington, Aotearoa NZ

Here I am reading at the beautiful Undercurrent bookshop / gig space in Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington, Aotearoa NZ. I read a scene from my London-Wellington novel-in-progress.

This inaugural ‘Windy City Scribblers’ event (17 Dec 2023) at The Undercurrent, also featured readings by Kristen Phillips, Tim Jones, Linda Burgess, Lis Cowey and Mary McCallum.

What a beautiful venue for a reading — thank you, Mary McCallum, for inviting me to be part of this event.

The Undercurrent bookshop (corner Tory/Vivian streets) hosts readings and musical performances. It’s also ideal for a quiet read with a cup of tea — and, of course, you can buy books there.
