In 2021, Linda Collins was a guest at a London-based online NZ Book Circle that I’ve been a member of for many years. Linda spoke to us about Loss Adjustment, her memoir on the death by suicide of her teenage daughter, Victoria McLeod. This book includes entries and poetry from Victoria’s journal.

A beautifully written, helpful book, ‘full of the strangeness of extreme grief’ (NZ author, Doctor Lucy O’Hagan), I’d place Loss Adjustment alongside Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking.
